Data storage in the SCRC

Users have relatively small home directories, ~ 5GB. This storage is backed up every hour, and is where your program files and small data files should be kept.

If you have large data sets, you should email scrc-list@stern.nyu.edu and describe your needs. You will be provided with “bighomes” storage with a link to it in your home directory. That storage is backed up daily.
